Telegrams – remembering life before Twitter

Do you remember the days of telegrams? -(STOP)- I don’t, but I remember fake telegrams being read out at my sister’s wedding -(STOP)-

I love getting cards, letters and thank you notes in the mail. But I have to confess that I hardly send them myself because email/Twitter/Facecrack is so damn easy to use and it saves me from getting handcramps just from addressing the envelope (how the hell did I manage to write essays back in high school??).

But this is just plain cool. And I still don’t have to write anything!

telegram-stop

Telegram Stop is reliving “the good old days” with their postal telegram service. For US$4.95 a telegram is posted to your nominee and a copy is emailed to you. It’s the best of both the new and old worlds!

Oh hai! I'm Laura, but my friends call me Rah. When I'm not writing for That's Noice I'm writing for Smarter Admins. I love eating pink cupcakes. When I grow up, I want to be just like Karen Walker.
