Here’s a bright idea

This idea wouldn’t work as well with the new light bulbs we have to use now…

US Etsy-er StarRedesign transforms old-school light bulbs into vases and flogs them for US$10.

If you’re the crafty type and have some of these light bulbs left, you can follow the tutorial yourself.

    I love the terrarium ones, but I haven’t been able to find anywhere in Australia that I can buy moss from :(

    A plant like that is just asking to be cat nomed LOL

    Those lightbulb vases are awesome!

    There are plenty of resources on the net outlining how to grow moss on rocks (link), I’m just not sure how well the moss will take to the glass.

    Only one way to find out I guess :-)
