Gift ideas from Edible Blooms
I’ve reached that point where I really struggle to buy gifts for people that are interesting and eye-catching. I try to buy gifts that aren’t fattening and aren’t just going to be chucked in the bin within weeks (or days!).
I’ve recently discovered the Australian online store Edible Blooms – they sell bouquets of fruit or chocolates or a combination of both. It is such a great idea!
The fruit bouquets feature fruit cut into flower shapes or chocolate dipped-strawberries – nom! I’ve ordered the chocolate bouquet a couple of times (the colour scheme is great – i.e. less feminine! – for men). The bouquets are beautifully presented and really do have that wow factor.
As you would expect with this sort of service, it’s quite expensive to buy these bouquets when compared to your basic floral bouquet (the one pictured is $99.00). But I think they’re great for something really special or as a gift from a group of people.
Edible Blooms also has a New Zealand store for our Kiwi neighbours.
I want one :( but at that price ouch! But considering that some people don’t like getting flowers (I myself am one as I get hayfever) this would be a great solution!

I know, the price is a bit much, isn’t it? That’s why I’ve loved them for group/corporate gifts.
