Asspeaker: music from behind
Asspeaker is what you suspect it might be – speakers shaped like a bum!
So there’s the sub-woofer (the big bum). You smack it to turn it on and off, and massage a cheek clockwise to turn the volume up; anticlockwise to turn the volume down.
The satellite speakers are separable bum cheeks. Taking the gool ol’ wedgie to a brand new level.
From what I can work out, these are a concept by Younes Daneshvar and Javad Yazdani and not actually available. BUMMER!
I discovered the Asspeaker over at Yanko Design and a commenter suggested that Sir-Mix-A-Lot’s “Baby Got Back” would be the perfect song to play on these. I reckon “Hey Ya!” by Outkast would be a winner, too.
